Job summary

C-Pak Cergas Sdn Bhd is seeking a Tooling Design Engineer to design and develop tooling using CAD, analyze designs with DFM and mold flow, and oversee projects from concept to completion in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.

The role requires a mechanical or polymer engineering degree and 5+ years in manufacturing, preferably injection molding, with strong analytical and collaboration skills. Medical insurance and paid training are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Polymer Engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD/AutoCAD essential, with DFM and mold flow experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, preferably with injection molding.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with project management ability.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop tooling using CAD; analyze and improve designs.
• Collaborate with mold makers, designers, production, and teams.
• Oversee tooling projects from conception to completion within time and budget.
• Identify and resolve tooling issues; perform repairs and engineering changes.
• Ensure tooling complies with standards and conduct QA tests.
• Create and maintain documentation for tooling and process.
