Job summary

PCL INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES (PENANG) SDN. BHD. in Batu Kawan seeks a Diploma holder in Electrical or Electronics to join the testing division as a Test Engineer/Manager.

This role involves sustaining the operation of testers and related equipment, and working closely with the team to uphold quality standards. You will work with cross-functional teams, perform root-cause analyses, maintain testers, jigs and tools, and contribute to process improvements that enhance yield and cost efficiency

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or Electronics or related field.
• Knowledge of test equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Ability to work under limited supervision.
• Willingness to collaborate with internal and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the engineering operations of the Tester.
• Work independently under limited supervision and apply engineering knowledge.
• Provide technical support to all projects, perform root cause analysis and repair jobs to keep testers, equipment, machines, jigs and tools in optimum condition.
• Improve processes to reduce manufacturing cost, increase yield, and improve quality and efficiency.
• Support engineers to collect/monitor log data of products or testers and perform maintenance.
• Ensure conformity to established quality standards and specifications.
• Team collaboration with internal and external parties.
• Quality assurance: ensure product quality by fulfilling customer specifications.
• Standardization: ensure all engineering operations and documentation meet compliance.

Education

Diploma in Electrical or Electronics or related field

Level 1: Test Engineer

Level 2: Test Manager

Job Responsibilities :

Responsible for the engineering operations of the Tester.

Work independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Electronic/Electrical Engineering.

Provide technical support to all projects, perform root cause analysis and repairing job to ensure Testers, Equipment’s, Machines, Jigs and Toolsare always in optimum condition.

Improves and optimizes processes to reducecost of manufacturing, increase yield, improves quality and manufacturing consistencyand efficiency.

Support engineer to collect/ monitor log data of products or tester. Perform Tester, Jigs, Tools and equipment maintenance job and recording in check sheet.

Ensure conformity to establish quality standardsand specifications.

Authorities :

Team collaboration: Corporate and workas teamwork within internal and external party.

Quality Assurance: Ensure product quality byfulfill customer specification and requirement.

Standardization: Ensure all engineering Operation, documentation proper carry up andmeet the compliance requirements.
