Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Penang is seeking a Graduate Equipment Maintenance Engineer– Test to set up, maintain, and optimize automated test systems ensuring reliable operation and quality targets in semiconductor manufacturing. The role welcomes fresh graduates with a degree in electronics engineering.

You will troubleshoot ATE hardware/software, support production, and contribute to yield improvements through data analysis and proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

Job Summary

The Equipment Maintenance Engineer is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and optimizing automated test systems to ensure reliable operation and achievement of production and quality targets in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Support production to minimize tester downtime and improve uptime
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment calibration
• Drive yield improvement through data analysis and failure investigation
• Support NPI activities and tester bring-up for new products

• Fresh Graduate in Bachelor Degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; experience in semiconductor Backend (Final Test), especially with ATE testers and test handlers, is an added advantage.
