Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Penang, Bayan Lepas, Malaysia, is seeking an QA/Test Engineer to ensure quality and reliability before product release. You will analyze defects, develop countermeasures, and support product transfers.

The role involves setup of test strategies, training technicians, and working with ATE platforms to reduce test time and improve yield. Fresh graduates are welcome; travel overseas for product transfer or machine buy-off may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics, Microelectronics or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems, hardware / software integration and production test methodologies
• Fresh graduate is encouraging to apply.
• Willing to travel overseas for new product transfer or machine buy off.

Responsibilities

• Have knowledge on ATE tester platform e.g Teradyne ETS-800, Advantest T2000, T3347, Fusion-CX & LTX tester
