Job summary

Contacthings Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking a lab support technician in Penang to provide module support and maintain tester equipment. The role requires shift-based scheduling, attention to detail, and proactive maintenance of lab tools and accessories.

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic electronics testing environment, ensuring ESD and safety protocols are strictly followed while responding to internal requests via email and Teams.

Qualifications

• SKM or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates are preferred. Also open to individuals who have 1 year experience.
• Able to work in shift-based scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Full operation coverage on module support, including Level 1.5 debugging.
• Maintaining tester equipment and conducting routine preventive maintenance (PM).
• Supporting lab operations through shift-based scheduling.
• Responding to requests via email, Microsoft Teams, or Redphone.
• Monitoring equipment performance and escalating critical issues when necessary.
• Maintaining tools, jigs, and accessories in proper working condition.
• Ensuring compliance with ESD, safety, and lab operational protocols.
