Job summary

Semtech in Ipoh, Malaysia, invites applications for an engineering role supporting test hardware development, software development, circuit validation, and project execution to drive NPI and sustaining programs.

You will contribute to PCB design, software automation, data collection, and documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product introduction and ongoing reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Computer/Software Engineering or related field
Basic knowledge of analog and digital electronics
Basic knowledge of software development principles and programming concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Fresh graduate or 0–1 year related experience

Responsibilities

Test Hardware Development: PCB schematic capture and layout for reliability and test boards
Software Development & Automation: develop and maintain productivity tools and automate workflows
Circuit Design & Validation: validate and troubleshoot circuit designs and document results
Project Execution & Documentation: create test plans, validation matrices, and reports and support cross-functional teams
