Job summary

Nexperia in Malaysia is seeking a capable IC testing engineer to design and implement robust ATE test strategies for analog and mixed-signal devices. You will develop test interfaces, write test programs, and contribute to device qualification and yield improvement.

We value a degree in Electronic Engineering and up to 3 years of hands-on experience with ATE systems such as Teradyne ETS-88/ETS-364, PCB design, and test equipment knowledge. Join our diverse, inclusive team in Seremban.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field required.
• 0–3 years of experience in semiconductor IC testing on ATE desired.
• Experience with ATE hardware PCB design and test equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Create robust and cost-effective semiconductor IC test strategies across test platform, hardware, software and instrumentation.
• Design ATE hardware interface boards, write test programs for IC testing and characterization.
• Debug and bring-up ATE test solutions to evaluate analog and mixed-signal ICs and perform bench correlation.
• Perform parametric tests on ATE with strong defect screening mentality.
• Debug device/setup issues and drive resolution independently.
• Analyze silicon results, perform statistical analysis, identify root causes of yield issues, support failure analysis.
• Support silicon qualification including qualification hardware development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to device success.

What you will do

• Design ATE hardware interface boards, write test programs for IC testing and characterization
• Debug and bring-up ATE test solution to evaluate analog and mixed-signal ICs and perform bench correlation
• Perform parametric tests on ATE with strong defect screening mentality
• Debug device and setup related issues and drive the issue to closure independently
• Analyze silicon results, do statistical analysis, find root cause for yield fall-outs, support failure analysis activities
• Support silicon qualification including qualification hardware development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to device success

What you will need

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in semiconductor IC testing on ATE
• Experience of ATE hardware PCB design
• Knowledge on test and measurement equipment’s
• ATE experience on analog testers like Teradyne ETS-88, ETS-364 or other equivalent ATE
