Job summary

Flex Malaysia is seeking a Test Engineer in Prai, Penang, to join our Production Engineering team and drive electronic product testing and data interpretation.

The role emphasizes developing test programs with Python/LabVIEW/Perl, instrument drivers, and test hardware support, requiring a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience. Flex offers medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, and performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Typically requires 3 years of experience in test engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area.

Responsibilities

• Develops and/or modifies test programs using various languages (Python, LabVIEW, Perl).
• Develops instrument drivers and supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level.
• Designs and supports functional test hardware, computer platforms and interfaces.
• Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test development, enhancements, test fixtures.
