Job summary

Flex is seeking a Senior Test Engineer based in Batu Kawan, Penang, to join our electronics testing team. The role focuses on directing test activities, developing and calibrating test systems, and collaborating with engineering to resolve test-related issues.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field and about 5 years of experience in high-technology electronics test engineering. On-site position with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in test engineering in high tech electronics.
• Knowledge of test program development and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates electronic engineering and testing activities.
• Develops and calibrates test instruments and software for testing.
• Resolve testing problems with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze test data and prepare technical reports for stakeholders.
• Develop or use software/hardware to conduct tests on products.
• Train floor staff on test hardware and software.
• Identify root causes of test yield issues and drive corrective actions.
• Create and maintain process documentation and test standards.
• Explore new technologies or procedures in the test sector.
• Determine test conditions, sequences, and phases.
