Job summary

Dynaciate Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Tendering Specialist to manage the full tender lifecycle from RFQ/RFP review through to contract negotiation. You will calculate costs for materials, labor, and engineering hours to build competitive pricing schedules and cost breakdowns and coordinate with internal teams to gather inputs.

You will source vendors and subcontractors for competitive pricing, prepare and submit final tender packages on time, and support post-submission activities including

Job description

This role involves managing the full tender lifecycle, from initial document review through to contract negotiation. You will read Request for Quotations (RFQs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), and tender documents to check project scope, rules, and deadlines. You will calculate costs for materials, labor, and engineering hours to build competitive pricing schedules and cost breakdowns, and coordinate with internal teams to gather technical and commercial inputs. You will source vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing, prepare and submit final tender packages on time and in the required format, and support post-submission activities including client queries, tender clarifications, and contract negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Read Request for Quotations (RFQs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), and tender documents to check project scope, rules, and deadlines
• Calculate costs for materials, labor, and engineering hours to build competitive pricing schedules and cost breakdowns
• Collect technical and commercial inputs from internal teams like engineering, planning, QA/QC, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment)
• Contact external suppliers and subcontractors to get the best pricing and compare quotes
• Prepare, check, bind, and submit final tender packages strictly on time and in the required format
• Answer client queries, handle tender clarifications, and support final contract negotiations

About you

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related technical field
• 2 to 5 years of working experience in tendering, contract documentation, or cost estimation
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
