Job summary

Kelington Group Berhad is seeking a capable professional to support tenders and cost control across multiple projects. The role involves collecting quotations, performing quantity take-offs, and preparing technical and commercial documents for submission.

You will coordinate with procurement, project, and finance teams, maintaining records and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Travel within Malaysia is expected where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree holder or higher in Engineering; Construction Management or related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in construction site; quantity surveying experience adds advantage.
• Own transport and willing to travel to project sites within Malaysia.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia—writing and speaking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of tenders, cost estimates, and bid documents.
• Collect and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and basic cost analyses from drawings.
• Compile technical and commercial documents for submission.
• Maintain tender tracking, vendor databases, and cost records.
• Assist in preparing progress claims, variation orders (VO), and cost reports.
• Support in verifying subcontractor claims and quotations.
• Collect site data and measurement records for valuation purposes.
• Maintain contract documentation, VO logs, and correspondence records.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, and finance teams on contract-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, legal requirements, and client contractual obligations.
• To perform any additional task that is assigned by Management as and when required.
