Job summary

Nestlé Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam is seeking a Temporary MRP Planner to ensure the right stocks are available at the correct location and to efficiently release demand forecasts to supply planning.

In this role you will drive Demand and Supply planning improvements, capture and analyze demand events, communicate with Senior Management, and use planning systems for exception-based management, aiming to sustain domestic customer service and optimal inventory.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of relevant operational experience at market/business level.
• Experience in Demand & Supply Planning.
• Project management in DSP.
• Leadership across functions in Generating Demand or Ensuring Supply areas.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 2+ years of working experience in related field.
• Lean experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Improve Demand Plan Accuracy (DPA) and supply planning processes.
• Capture, analyze and input demand events and market information.
• Communicate with Senior Management per Consensus Demand Planning.
• Minimize deviations from the Demand Plan with timely actions.
• Utilize Demand Planning system for exception-based management.
• Ensure weekly planning processes meet domestic Customer Service Level targets.
• Balance inventory to optimize stock and location requirements.
• Analyze supply plan and net despatch to meet customer needs.
• Establish stock policies for Finished Goods with Inter Market Supply Teams.
• Periodically review domestic stock levels and proactively resolve deviations.
• Communicate supply issues and trade-offs clearly.
• Ensure actions are realistic per the Business Planning process.
