Job summary

Master Additives in Port Klang, Selangor, seeks a Temporary Lab Technician for a six-month contract to join the quality assurance and control team. You will perform routine tests on raw materials, in-process samples and finished products to ensure quality standards.

You will maintain records, calibrate equipment, assist with QC procedures, ensure traceability, and uphold health and safety rules in the laboratory environment, contributing to manufacturing excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure quality.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of test results and procedures.
• Operate, calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Support development and implementation of QC procedures and testing methods.
• Collect and label samples to ensure traceability.
• Clean, sterilise and store laboratory equipment and materials.
• Report deviations or non-conformances to supervisors.
• Assist QA team with ad hoc testing and investigations.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations in the lab.

Master Additives is seeking a Temporary Lab Technician (6 months contract) to join our quality assurance and control team on a contract basis. This role is based in Port Klang, Selangor and offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic manufacturing environment, supporting critical quality testing and analysis functions. As a Temporary Lab Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements, contributing directly to the success of our manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting routine laboratory tests and analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications
• Preparing and maintaining accurate documentation of all test results and laboratory procedures in accordance with company protocols
• Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting where necessary
• Assisting in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and testing methodologies
• Collecting and labelling samples correctly to ensure proper traceability throughout the testing process
• Cleaning, sterilising and storing laboratory equipment and materials appropriately
• Reporting any deviations or non-conformances to supervisory staff promptly
• Supporting the quality assurance team with ad hoc testing and investigative work as required
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations within the laboratory environment
