Job summary

Constructions Industrielles de la Mediterranee - CNIM Singapore Private Limited in Malaysia seeks a maintenance technician to support elevators and escalators. You will report to the Maintenance Operations Manager and join the maintenance team to ensure reliable operation and timely service.

Responsibilities include routine and preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair, emergency calls on standby, completing checklists and service reports, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics or related engineering discipline
• 1–2 years in maintenance, servicing or repair of elevators/escalators preferred
• Strong troubleshooting, safety awareness and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on assigned elevators and escalators
• Troubleshoot faults, diagnose issues, and carry out repairs as required
• Respond to emergency service calls when on standby
• Complete maintenance checklists and service reports
• Follow company procedures and safety regulations at all times
• Keep tools and work areas clean and organized
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job description

• Perform other duties as assigned

About you

• Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline
• At least 1-2 years of work experience in maintenance, servicing, or repair of elevators and escalators is preferred
• Able to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and corrective repairs in accordance with company procedures and safety standards
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently as part of a team
