Job summary

Gateway Search is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to repair, service, install, and troubleshoot home appliances. You will provide technical support and assist customers with product-related issues, traveling to sites as needed.

The role requires 1-2 years of appliance repair experience, basic Bahasa Malaysia and English, and a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. You will work with common tools, manage parts, and maintain safety standards in workshops or customer

Qualifications

• Minimum Vocational Certificate or relevant technical qualification.
• 1-2 years of experience repairing home appliances.
• Basic spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiar with common tools and equipment.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Willing to travel for field service.
• Physically fit to handle medium/heavy home appliances.
• Valid GDL (Goods Delivery License) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Arrange appointments and visit customers for field service when required.
