Job summary

BINA KEJAYAAN is seeking an Electrical Technician to install, maintain and repair electrical systems across residential, commercial and industrial sites in Malaysia. The role requires technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The successful candidate will perform wiring, inspections, and troubleshooting, read drawings and specifications, and ensure safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical installation or maintenance.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems. The ideal candidate should have technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and be willing to work independently or in a team.

Job Responsibilities

Perform electrical installation, wiring and cabling works for residential, commercial and industrial projects.

Install, maintain and repair electrical systems, equipment, lighting and power distribution boards.

Carry out electrical inspection, testing and troubleshooting to identify faults and ensure proper system operation.

Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical specifications.

Assist in electrical maintenance, upgrading and rectification works at project sites.

Ensure all electrical works comply with safety requirements, applicable standards and company procedures.

Use electrical tools and testing equipment safely and correctly.

Coordinate with supervisors, project teams and other contractors to ensure work is completed according to schedule.

Prepare daily work reports and report electrical faults, defects or site issues to the supervisor.

Maintain tools, equipment and the cleanliness of the work area.

Requirements

Electrical installation or maintenance experience is an advantage.

Knowledge of electrical wiring, troubleshooting and safety procedures.

Able to work at project sites and perform physical tasks.

Possession of a valid Suruhanjaya Tenaga competency certificate is an advantage, depending on job requirements.
