Job summary

Radicare (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in Ipoh. You will perform daily facility inspections, respond to issues, and carry out corrective maintenance under supervision.

You will inspect equipment and systems, update records, supervise contractors, procure spare parts, and ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, and ISO 9001/HSE procedures to maintain high service quality.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Building Maintenance or related field.
• Good hands-on technical skills.
• Able to use basic testing instruments and maintenance tools.
• Basic knowledge of occupational safety.
• Additional competency certification relevant to the discipline is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily facility inspections/response.
• Attend breakdowns, work orders and carry out corrective maintenance.
• Inspect equipment & systems and perform basic testing and measurements.
• Report defects and abnormal conditions and assist engineers/executives with technical works.
• Update checklists, maintenance records and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition.
• Supervise contractors involved in maintenance works.
• Identify technical problems and plan the required maintenance works.
• Procure/order spare parts as required.
• Comply with SOPs, PTW and PPE requirements and Support emergency response.
• Facilitate the implementation of ISO 9001 Quality Assurance procedures and Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) procedures.
• Maintain and update the asset register for all building spaces.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, statutory requirements and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management and ensure efficient execution.
