Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Assistant in Kuala Lumpur. You will support day‑to‑day maintenance activities, handle minor breakdowns, and supervise contractors during breakdowns and preventive maintenance.

You must respond quickly to work requests for critical and normal equipment and report issues to the Head of Maintenance. You will monitor gas supply and ensure spare parts records and availability are kept up‑to‑date.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Respond to internal service requests quickly, especially critical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist all maintenance work.
• In-house service of minor breakdowns and complaints.
• Monitor contractor/vendor during breakdown services and planned preventive maintenance.
• Respond to work requests within 15 minutes for critical equipment and 2 hours for normal equipment.
• Report issues to Head of Maintenance.
• Monitor gas supply.
• Ensure spare parts bin cards are updated.
• Maintain 90% spare parts availability.

1. 1.Assisting all Maintenance work
2. 2.In-house service of minor breakdown and complaint.
3. 3.Monitoring contracor / vendor during breakdown service and planned preventive maintenance
4. 4.responding to work request reported by all department within 15 minutes for critical equipment and 2 hours for normal equipment
5. 5.Report to Head of Maintenance of any issue related to facility
