Job summary

Nexperia in Malaysia is seeking a maintenance technician to bring mechanical/electrical/electronic expertise to our back-end assembly lines. The role focuses on preventative and routine tasks to meet production requirements.

You will monitor quality and safety, manage routine maintenance of complex equipment, diagnose faults quickly, and support production with data-driven maintenance, planning, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering required.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

About the role

The primary purpose of the role is to bring technical knowledge to the manufacturing in Maintenance, Production or Planning in order to meet production requirements. The technician role is emphasised and more on the performance in preventative and routine tasks.

What will you do

Understanding of quality requirements. Be conscious of safety requirements. Incharge of effective routine maintenance of complex backend assembly equipment, processes and support organisations. Able to capability to diagnose known faults quickly and effect efficient repairs. Understand how the production can be optimised and supported. Optimise and improve maintenance, planning and supporting functions using all the indicators available.

What will you need

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. A team player with analytical, problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, or equivalent office software. Willingness to work on shifts, if required.
