Job summary

RecruitFirst Pte Ltd in Shah Alam is seeking an Automation Tester (QA System Analyst / Manager) for a contract role within our IT hardware operations. You will perform basic diagnostics, refurbishment, and assembly of laptops, desktops, tablets, and other devices while following SOPs.

You will document test results, assist with quality assurance, and support production and warehouse activities as needed, contributing to reliable repairs and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Interest in electronics, computers, and technology.
• Good attention to detail and manual handling skills for electronics.
• Willing to learn diagnostic, repair, and refurbishment processes.
• Can follow documented procedures and work instructions accurately.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Can work effectively in a team environment.
• Previous experience in electronics repair, refurbishment, assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse operations would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Basic diagnostics and troubleshooting of laptops, desktops, and tablets.
• Refurbishment of used and aged electronic devices to restore functionality and appearance.
• Assembly and disassembly of electronic equipment.
• Replacement of components and parts such as keyboards, screens, batteries, memory, storage drives, and other hardware components.
• Functional testing, quality assurance, and final inspection of repaired devices.
• Data capture and accurate recording of repair activities and test results.
• Following standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and safety guidelines.
• General production and warehouse support activities as required.
