Job summary

JUlies Marketing Sdn Bhd in Alor Gajah, Melaka, seeks a technically skilled technician to manage on-site setup, installation, testing and servicing of machines. You will monitor performance, perform preventive maintenance, and uphold cleanliness and safety across the workshop.

The role requires a Diploma/Boilerman certification or equivalent, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering or Boilerman certification.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Good mechanical or electrical knowledge in manufacturing is a plus.
• Willing to learn and maintain a positive attitude.
• Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to follow instructions and troubleshoot effectively.
• Detail oriented with high caution and good analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal communication with all levels and proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• On-site setup, installation, testing, maintenance and servicing of machines and equipment.
• Monitor, control and adjust machines for quality, productivity and line effectiveness.
• Maintain and repair factory amenities and facilities.
• Keep machines and workshop area clean and orderly.
• Ensure maintenance and servicing comply with ISO 9001, HACCP/GMP, ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000.
• Report issues to supervisor or HOD.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by the Company or department head.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Ensuring on-site set up, installation, test task, maintenance, fabrication, repairing and servicing of machines and or equipment are done according to schedule or when needed.
• Monitoring, controlling and adjusting the machines and equipment for better quality, productivity and production line effectiveness.
• Maintaining, up-keeping, repairing the amenities and facilities in the factories.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the machines, equipment and workshop area.
• Ensuring all the maintenance and servicing process are carried out according to ISO 9001, HACCP/GMP, ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 requirements.
• Reporting to the supervisor and/or HOD for any problems encountered.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Company and/or departmental superior.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Possess at least a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineering or Boilerman certification or equivalent.
• Possess good mechanical or electrical knowledge and relevant working experience in the manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
