Job summary

Ant International in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a bilingual technical writer to design and develop product documents in English and Chinese, including API docs, integration guides, tutorials and best practices.

You will work with product teams to gather information, ensure accuracy, analyze complex technical content, and improve content through user feedback and metrics. Proactive delivery and ability to grasp technical concepts are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English and Chinese; able to work with stakeholders from China.
• Experience in technical writing or editing; content writing is welcome.
• Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and present clearly.
• Proactive, self-driven with timely delivery of requests.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop product documents in English and Chinese, including API/SDK docs, integration guides, tutorials, best practices.
• Collaborate with product teams to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of documents.
• Research, analyze, and organize complex technical information into clear, readable content.
• Collect internal/external feedback and use metrics to improve underperforming content.
• Write product interface copy as needed.

Job Description:

• Design and develop product documents in both English and Chinese for Ant international, including product introduction, technical integration guides, API/SDK documentation, tutorials, best practices, etc., to help users quickly get started with the products.
• Work closely with product development teams to gather product information, conceptualize and develop content, and conduct review meetings to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the documents.
• Research, analyze, and organize complex technical information into clear, concise, and readable documents.
• Constantly collect internal and external customer feedback, use metrics to identify underperforming content and present/implement a plan for improvement.
• Write product interface copy.

Job Requirement:

• Degree in English, Communications, Linguistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Full professional proficiency both in English and Chinese as this role will work closely with stakeholders from Technical Writer Team based in China.
• Experience in technical writing or editing. Candidate with content writing experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts.
• Proactive and self-motivated with record in timely delivery of requests.
