Job summary

TAN CHONG INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT SDN BHD is seeking a Commercial Vehicles Technical Specialist to provide on-site technical support for buses and trucks. You will work with engineering, production, after-sales and bodybuilders to resolve issues and improve product quality while supporting product changes.

The role involves training customers and bodybuilders, handling complaints, and building strong customer relationships across Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and maintenance recommendations for buses and chassis
• Support bus body building, chassis compatibility, and quality improvements
• Conduct technical and body-building training for customers and bodybuilders
• Handle customer complaints and coordinate timely technical solutions
• Build strong customer relationships while identifying service and sales opportunities
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and After-Sales teams to address recurring technical and product issues
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and customer requirements
• Provide customer training on proper bus operation and offer on-site technical support
• Travel extensively across Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia, depending on customer requirements

The role works closely with Engineering, Production, After-Sales, Principal Engineering Teams, and bodybuilders to resolve technical issues, improve product quality, and support product changes.
