Job summary

Elang Wah Sdn Bhd seeks a dedicated automotive technician to perform comprehensive bus maintenance and inspections. You will handle diagnostics, routine servicing, and repairs under supervision, ensuring safety and roadworthiness.

The role requires a Diploma or Certificate in Automotive Technology and a willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed. Fresh graduates with a strong technical interest are encouraged to apply, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Technology or related field is required/advantageous.
• Minimum 1 year of vehicle maintenance or workshop experience is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates with strong interest and basic technical knowledge encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and scheduled inspections of buses and related systems.
• Perform basic maintenance like tyre, battery, lighting, engine oil, cooling system checks.
• Report mechanical/electrical issues to senior personnel and assist with repairs.
• Ensure compliance with JPJ, PUSPAKOM, DOSH and company procedures.
• Maintain service records, inspection checklists, and breakdown reports.
• Coordinate servicing schedules, PUSPAKOM inspections, and road tax renewals.
• Monitor bus cleanliness and safety equipment condition.
• Assist in spare parts inventory management and storekeeping.
• Ensure workshop equipment is maintained and used safely.
• Support readiness for roadside breakdowns and emergencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Operations & Technical Department.
• Hands-on work includes diagnostics, engine/transmission maintenance, cooling and exhaust system work, wheel alignment, preventive maintenance, and general repairs.
