Job summary

A leading oil and gas service provider in Pasir Gudang is looking for a Technical Customer Support professional to manage shipyard feedback and product quality issues. Responsibilities include coordinating manpower for urgent tasks and preparing training materials. Candidates should have a minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with exposure in the Oil & Gas industry. This is a full-time role with a daytime shift.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Engineering construction exposure in Oil & Gas or Marine/Offshore industries.

Responsibilities

  • Handle shipyard feedback and investigate field failure issues.
  • Coordinate manpower and resources for urgent tasks.
  • Prepare training material and installation manuals.

Job description

  • To handle shipyard feedback and investigation on field failure issues.
  • To furnish and co-ordinate manpower & resources to attend to urgent.
  • Attend major issues due to product quality or installation issues at site.
  • To guide and assist assistant Technical Support engineers on site assignments or repair works.
  • Prepare training Material take off (MTO) & installation manuals according to specification.
  • Generate labor hour estimation for repair, modification, survey, training & supervision.
  • To attend meeting and discussion with customer and agents on site issues.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Engineering construction exposure in Oil & Gas or Marine/Offshore, Refinery & Petro-Chemical Industries.

Special Training Required

  • Project Management / Planning Knowledge.
