Job summary

WINSTAR ALUMINIUM MANUFACTURING SDN BHD is seeking an Electrical Engineer to assist in system sizing for solar mounting, design SLDs, and perform load flow/fault analyses for PV projects. You will guide customers, troubleshoot on-site issues, and conduct site visits to ensure quality installations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, familiarity with AutoCAD/SolidWorks, and ST PW4 license with GCPV Chargeman or Wireman preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Experience with solar PV systems is preferred; training will be provided.
• Valid ST PW4 License with GCPV Chargeman or Wireman certification is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD/3D modeling software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is expected.
• Familiarity with TNB Interconnection Guidelines and ST & SEDA licensing processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Willingness to travel for on-site service and support visits.

Responsibilities

Job Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience with solar PV systems is preferred (training will be provided).

Valid ST PW4 License, with GCPV Chargeman or Wireman certification highly preferred and given priority.

Proficiency in CAD/3D modeling software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).

Familiarity with:

• - TNB Interconnection Guidelines
• - ST & SEDA licensing process

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals, or willingness to learn.

Good interpersonal skills for collaborating with customers, installers, and partners.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to meet tight project deadlines.

Willingness to travel for on-site service and support visits.

Prior experience in technical support, commissioning, or maintenance of solar inverters, battery systems, or similar equipment is an advantage.
