Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Technical Sourcing Specialist to coordinate material requirements and support ongoing equipment manufacturing priorities in a Kuala Lumpur-based position. You will source fabrication parts, standard components, and specialized sub-assemblies while partnering with regional vendors to secure competitive costs and lead-time efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in technical sourcing, procurement engineering, or purchasing within capital equipment manufacturing.
• Must have a functional understanding of machining processes and be able to interpret technical drawings.
• Experience in managing purchase records and inventory data within ERP tools.
• Practical background in commercial negotiations, lead-time optimization, and vendor performance tracking.
• Tertiary qualification in engineering or a matching technical discipline.
