Job summary

Altus Engineering & Trading is seeking a technically adept Sales Engineer to support customers in the engineering, manufacturing, or industrial sectors. You will provide technical advice, prepare quotations, and close deals while collaborating with internal teams.

The role requires a solid engineering background, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. You will identify new sales opportunities and maintain strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales or customer-facing roles in engineering/manufacturing.
• Strong technical foundation with ability to explain complex engineering products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and solutions to customers.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales per policy.
• Collaborate with internal design and technical teams to meet requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships to support repeat business.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the assigned area.
• Maintain accurate records and report sales activities and pipeline.
