Job summary

Aemulus Corporation Sdn Bhd is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to blend technical know-how with strong relationship-building in Malaysia, Southeast Asia and China. You will understand customer needs and propose semiconductor test solutions, coordinating across engineering teams to deliver successful projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science can apply.
• Mandarin proficiency to communicate with stakeholders in China and Taiwan.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for technology and interest in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and curious mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally for customer meetings and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers across Malaysia, Southeast Asia and China.

• Prepare sales proposals, quotations and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate customer projects from quotation through delivery, ensuring timely execution and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Manufacturing and Applications Engineering teams for project success.
• Communicate customer requirements internally and follow up on issues.
• Stay updated on semiconductor technologies and market trends to identify opportunities.
• Represent Aemulus at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events.
• Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.

About the Role

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you’ll combine your technical knowledge and relationship-building skills to understand customer needs, recommend semiconductor test solutions and drive business growth. You’ll work closely with customers and internal engineering teams across Malaysia, Southeast Asia and China, with opportunities to gain regional exposure and grow your career in the semiconductor industry.

What You’ll Do

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across Malaysia, Southeast Asia and China.

Identify new business opportunities and support sales growth.

Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable semiconductor test solutions.

Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations and solution discussions.

Prepare sales proposals, quotations and supporting documentation.

Coordinate customer projects from quotation through delivery, ensuring timely execution and customer satisfaction.

Work closely with Hardware, Software, Manufacturing and Applications Engineering teams to ensure successful project implementation.

Communicate customer requirements internally and follow up on technical or project-related issues.

Stay updated on semiconductor technologies, market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

Represent Aemulus at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events.

Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.

What We’re Looking For

Must Have

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Mandarin proficiency to effectively communicate with stakeholders in China and Taiwan.

Experience in technical sales, business development or customer-facing engineering roles.

Knowledge of semiconductor test and measurement technologies.
