Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior Delivery Lead to steer complex biometric solution implementations across APAC from its Kuala Lumpur base. You will coordinate on-site delivery, manage critical programs, and align cross-functional teams with client stakeholders to ensure on-time, quality outcomes.

The role requires travel 20–30% within the region, deep experience in government/identity projects, and strong risk and governance capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex software projects (B2B or B2G).
• Strong scope, risk, and stakeholder management.
• Cross-functional delivery experience.
• Fluency in English (B2).
• Malayan language is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking.
• University education in a technology field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in APAC region (government, elections, identity) is nice to have.
• Experience with nationally critical projects is nice to have.
• On-site delivery in challenging environments is nice to have.
• Familiarity with biometric or identity systems is nice to have.
• Willingness to travel up to 20–30% within the region.

Job description

• Lead complex biometric solution deliveries with a primary focus on APAC markets
• Serve as the lead delivery interface for local clients
• Manage nationally critical digital identity and border control projects
• Navigate evolving requirements and unpredictable decision-making pragmatically and adaptably
• Travel during critical phases such as solution design and acceptance testing
• Drive delivery and manage client relationships on site
• Build a full delivery map of solutions, lifecycle, governance, and escalation paths
• Join ceremonies as primary delivery owner on an active local project
• Identify delivery risks and propose mitigation plans
• Align delivery rhythm with Professional Services
• Build relationships with local client counterparts
• Lead complex deliveries end-to-end
• Run steering, risk reviews, and change control governance
• Drive cross-team alignment and unblock critical issues
• Improve delivery playbooks and tooling
• Act as communication bridge between clients and internal teams
• Lead multiple concurrent projects or a larger program across APAC markets
• Handle escalations and course-correct delivery
• Bridge technical and non-technical audiences
• Mentor within Professional Services
• Support bids for new opportunities
• Deliver measurable value balancing scope, time, cost, and quality
• Influence product evolution through delivery insights

Requirements
