Innovatrics is hiring a Technical Project Manager to drive complex biometric solution deliveries across APAC markets. You will act as the primary delivery interface for local clients, coordinating cross-functional teams, governance, and risk management while navigating language and cultural nuances.

You will lead multi-month programs, mentor within Professional Services, and travel during design and acceptance phases. English fluency is required; knowledge of the Malayan language is a plus.

We delivered the full end-to-end biometric solution for Guinea's national elections, covering 3,000 enrollment stations and an ABIS system serving millions of citizens.

Why This Job Is Exciting

As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead complex biometric solution deliveries with a primary focus on APAC markets. You will serve as the lead delivery interface for local clients, managing nationally critical projects like digital identity and border control where language, culture, and context are paramount.

Beyond these markets, you’ll tackle global projects with high ownership and ambiguity. This isn't a "textbook" PM role; you must navigate evolving requirements and unpredictable decision-making by being pragmatic and adaptable. On-site presence is essential—you will travel during critical phases like solution design and acceptance testing to drive delivery and manage client relationships where they matter most.

Within one month, you will…

• Build a full delivery map of our solutions, lifecycle, governance, and escalation paths
• Join ceremonies as primary delivery owner on at least one active local project
• Identify top delivery risks and propose mitigation plans
• Align delivery rhythm with Professional Services
• Build relationships with local client counterparts

Within three months, you will…

• Lead at least one complex delivery end-to-end
• Run governance (steering, risk reviews, change control)
• Drive cross-team alignment and unblock critical issues
• Improve delivery playbooks and tooling
• Act as communication bridge between clients and internal teams

Within six months, you will…

• Lead multiple concurrent projects or a larger program across APAC markets
• Handle escalations and course-correct delivery
• Bridge technical and non-technical audiences
• Mentor within Professional Services
• Support bids for new opportunities

Within one year, you will…

• Be a trusted delivery partner for key clients
• Deliver measurable value balancing scope, time, cost, and quality
• Influence product evolution through delivery insights
• Raise delivery standards across the team
• Become the go-to PM for APAC markets

About You

You thrive in complex environments with shifting constraints and real accountability. You communicate clearly, protect quality, and stay calm under pressure. You are fluent in English, able to run steering committees, manage escalations, and write formal documentation. There is a strong advantage if you understand the cultural context of working with government and institutional clients in APAC region.

Must-have

• Proven experience delivering complex software projects (B2B or B2G)
• Strong scope, risk, and stakeholder management
• Fluency in English (at least solid B2 as this is our company language)
• Malayan language is an advantage
• Strong analytical and structured thinking
• University education in a technology field or equivalent experience

Nice-to-have

• Experience in APAC region (government, elections, identity)
• Experience with nationally critical projects
• On-site delivery in challenging environments
• Familiarity with biometric or identity systems

Level

This role is scoped at Medior level.

• Fully remote
• Willingness to travel up to 20–30% within the region

Starting at €2,000 gross/month up to €3,500 gross/month depending on level and experience.
