We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Project Engineer to join our Field Service Team. In your role, you will report to the Technical Project Manager and work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineer and other departments on projects and outages for turbo machinery system at various client sites.
You will be responsible for sites’ technical related matter and provide technical support to customers in day-to-day operations to ensure the efficient operation of gas turbine equipment, minimizing downtime and maintaining customer satisfaction. You will also assist with coordination and planning for projects and outages scope of work based on O&M Manual recommendation, customers’ planning and outstanding sites’ technical issues and drive the successful execution on projects and outages.
This role requires travelling to work sites onshore and offshore.
Responsible for technical related matter and provide technical support to customer operation to ensure the efficient operation of covered equipment.
Work closely with Baker Hughes Engineering (Svc Technology) on complex issue for technical disposition.
Coordinate and plan for service activities. Preparation of Projects and Outages scope of work based on O&M Manual recommendation, customers’ planning, and outstanding sites’ technical issues.
Assist with planning on the execution of services (HSE, schedule, manpower, logistics, parts / consumables, and tools / equipment).
Technical briefing for Field Service Engineers and monitor / support during execution. Rationalize lesson learned and closing for next cycle.
Drives internal Quality and Outage Excellence improvement for Field Service Team.
Constantly review and propose technical enhancement applicable for Customers fleets via implementation of Service Bulletin / Technical Bulletin. Coordinate with ITO / OTR on RM&U opportunities.
Flexibility in working hours and working days to accommodate equipment maintenance plans and emergencies.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
Minimum 1 – 5 years working experience with Engineering / Project / Plant Maintenance or Operation. Prior working experience in Power / Oil & Gas Industry would be an added advantage.
Experience on Heavy Duty Gas Turbine and/or Aero Derivative Gas Turbine, Compressors, Gearbox, and other Turbomachinery equipment.
Experience working on Control Systems for General Electric Gas Turbines Fr5,6,7,9 and/or LM2500, LM6000 would be an added advantage.
Result oriented – being organized and proactive and having excellent problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
