Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Limited seeks a Technical Network Manager to lead network architecture across LAN/WAN/WLAN and data centers. You will harden perimeters with redundant firewall clusters and implement 802.1X/TACACS+ identity management, while optimizing performance and coordinating with vendors for circuit delivery.

The role requires strong expertise in BGP/OSPF, VXLAN/EVPN, SD-WAN platforms, wireless infrastructure, and security best practices, with a focus on resilience and scalable design

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in network engineering, implementation, and operations.
• Experience in enterprise and/or data center networks; global/large-scale environments advantageous.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and document network topologies (LAN/WAN/WLAN/Data Center) and select appropriate hardware/software.
• Design security architecture with redundant firewall clusters and 802.1X/TACACS+ identity management.
• Plan traffic routing, bandwidth allocation, and fault tolerance.
• Coordinate with telecom providers, third-party managed services, and hardware vendors for circuit delivery and procurement.
• Oversee network rollouts from design and budgeting to deployment and post-implementation review.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation for outages, routing loops, and critical performance degradation.
• Design robust Wi-Fi networks (Wi‑Fi 6/6E/7) using WLCs and cloud/virtual controllers.
• Create and maintain design diagrams, as-built drawings, and configuration templates.
