Job summary

Wirabot in Malaysia is seeking a ROS2 engineer to architect and deploy robot software for industrial humanoids. You’ll own the software stack, integrate hardware and AI, and deploy on edge devices.

Strong Python/C++ skills, Linux expertise, and hands-on hardware/software integration are essential. Expect occasional interstate travel to support nationwide solutions. Join a fast-moving robotics team building the future across ASEAN.

Qualifications

• Proficient in ROS2, Python and C++ with hardware/software integration experience.
• Comfortable working in Linux terminal and hands-on with robotics hardware.
• Interest in experimenting with new AI papers and testing on robots.

Responsibilities

• Own the ROS2, Python/C++, and NVIDIA Jetson deployment environment.
• Bridge hardware and AI using Unitree SDKs and future platforms.
• Deploy and optimize edge AI models for Vision, Voice, and SLAM on target devices.
• Lead on-site technical deployments for enterprise clients in factories or malls.
• Scale integration as new humanoid brands join the fleet.

Are you a ROS2 Wizard? You won't just be maintaining code; you’ll be the architect of how our robots think, move, and talk. You’ll take world-class hardware and build the custom applications and AI behaviors that turn "cool gadgets" into essential industrial solutions. Starting this September, you will shape our engineering culture from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

Own the Software Stack

Lead our ROS2, Python/C++, and NVIDIA Jetson deployment environment.

Hardware-to-AI Bridge

Use the Unitree SDK (and future brand SDKs) to create custom behaviors, autonomous navigation, and LLM-powered interactions.

Edge AI Deployment

Optimize AI models (Vision, Voice, SLAM) to run flawlessly on edge devices.

Field hero

Lead technical deployments on-site. When a high-profile client needs a custom solution in a factory or a mall, you’re the one who makes it happen.

Scaling

As we expand and add new humanoid brands to our fleet, you will lead the integration of their "brains" into our ecosystem.

Who You Are

A ROS2 Wizard who is comfortable living in the Linux terminal.

Proficient in Python and C++ with experience in hardware/software integration.

Someone who loves to experiment—if a new AI paper drops today, you’re testing it on a robot tomorrow.
