Job summary

W.R. Grace is seeking a Technical Engineer to join our Manufacturing Team based in Kuantan, Pahang. The role leads process optimization, manufacturing excellence, and safety initiatives to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant operation while maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance.

You will act as the technical subject matter expert for assigned processes, drive continuous improvement, lead plant trials, and mentor engineers and operators across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering preferred or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years in chemical, petrochemical, or related manufacturing.
• 3+ years in process engineering, technical, or manufacturing excellence roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead process optimization and manufacturing excellence initiatives.
• Conduct process safety management and risk assessments.
• Lead capital projects and technology transfer.
• Develop process calculations and mass balances.
• Mentor engineers and train operators.
