Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Engineer to install, terminate, configure, test and commission ELV and security systems in accordance with M&E drawings and specifications.

You will maintain systems, respond to breakdowns, train customers, coordinate on site with M&E consultants and contractors, and prepare project documentation.

Candidates should have a Diploma/Degree in Engineering and 1–2 years of related experience, with the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering required.
• Experience in ELV & Security Systems preferred.
• 1–2 years in similar field preferred.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, configure, test and commission ELV and Security systems per M&E drawings or specifications.
• Carry out routine maintenance, breakdown and repair of ELV systems.
• Provide product training for customers and end-users.
• Site coordination and supervision to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Liaise with customers, architects, M&E consultants, subcontractors and authorities.
• Prepare project documentation (site dairy, progress reports, drawings, checklists, operation manuals).
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Carry out equipment installation, termination, configuration, testing & commissioning, trouble shooting as per M&E drawings or engineering specifications.

To carry out routine maintenance work, breakdown and repair works for ELV Systems (CCTV, Alarm System, Access Control System, PIDS, Barrier Gate, etc).

Provide product training for customers and end-users.

Responsible of site coordination and supervising to ensure projects are completed according to schedule.

Liaise with customers, architects, M&E consultant, sub-contractors and relevant authorities.

Preparation of project related documentations, e.g. site dairy, progress report, drawings, check list, operation manual, etc.

Any other duties as assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Engineering.

Preferably with knowledge and experiences in handling ELV & Security System and Equipment.

Preferably with 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in similar field.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
