Job summary

China Construction Engineering (S.E.A) Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. – Ulu Tiram, Johor is seeking a skilled CAD/M&E technician to interpret drawings, coordinate with design teams and supervise on-site activities in line with approved schemes. Proficiency in CAD and MS Office, ability to review drawings for conflicts, and strong on-site communication are essential for this position.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Study construction drawings, design alterations, standard atlases and relevant codes; participate in drawing reviews and communicate with designers for clarification.
• Assist in compiling special construction schemes, technical measures and progress plans; supervise on-site construction in accordance with approved schemes.
• Assist surveyors in setting out and rechecking axes, elevations, control lines and detailed dimensions to ensure drawing compliance.
• Assist in the acceptance of incoming materials and witness sampling and inspection; follow up test results and manage material proportions.
• Coordinate with supervisors, Employer and authorities for acceptance of concealed works and final project acceptance.

1.Proficient in CAD and Microsoft Office. Complete technical documents including construction records, test ledgers and disclosure records in a standardized manner, and ensure all documents are consistent with on-site conditions.

2.Able to accurately interpret C&S drawings, design changes and standard atlases, and familiar with current construction and acceptance codes. Capable of independently conducting drawing reviews, identifying drawing conflicts and coordinating with designers for clarification.

3.Competent in compiling special construction schemes, technical measures and work instructions; conduct standardized technical and safety disclosures for divisional and sub-divisional works.

4.Communicate efficiently with construction teams, supervisors, the Employer, design institutes and government authorities to deliver technical requirements and coordinate acceptance procedures.

M&E

2.Assist in or compile special construction schemes, technical measures and progress plans. Supervise on-site construction in strict accordance with approved schemes and technical disclosures, and control construction techniques and working procedures.

3.Assist surveyors in setting out and rechecking axes, elevations, control lines and detailed dimensions to ensure compliance of positions and dimensions with drawing requirements.

4.Assist in the acceptance of incoming materials and witness sampling & inspection. Follow up the test results of test blocks and specimens, and control material application and construction mix proportions.

5.Cooperate with supervisors, the Employer and quality supervision authorities for acceptance of concealed works, divisional and sub-divisional works as well as final project acceptance. Formulate rectification technical solutions for quality and technical defects, and follow up the implementation of rectification works.

6.Optimize construction techniques reasonably to reduce material waste. Adjust technical arrangements according to construction progress to ensure the project is delivered as scheduled.

M&E
