Job summary

Kian Joo Group is seeking a hands-on Maintenance/TPM engineer to lead the technical team in TPM programmes for machinery repair and improvement. The role involves system integration of existing equipment into a new ERP platform and PLC programming settings.

You will participate in improvement initiatives, prepare and monitor maintenance schedules, conduct regular inspections, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions while supporting the maintenance budget and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience leading TPM initiatives in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP integration for equipment and processes.
• Experience with PLC programming settings and commissioning.
• Ability to prepare maintenance schedules and manage maintenance budgets.

Responsibilities

• Assist to lead technical team on TPM related to machines repairing and improvement programmes.
• Involve and in-charge on the system integration of existing equipment and machineries to new ERP system and PLC programming setting.
• Participate in meetings and improvement programs training.
• Provide operational support: prepare maintenance schedule, conduct regular inspection of machinery and facilities, identify root cause, and resolve problems with corrective actions.
• Generate, maintain & update technical operational procedures and ensure enforcement of processes and procedures.
• Assist in recording and overseeing the maintenance budget.

Job description

• Assist to lead technical team on the Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) which related to machines repairing and improvement programmes.
• To involve and in-charge on the system integration of existing equipment and machineries to new ERP system and PLC programming setting.
• To actively participate in meetings and improvement programs training.
• To provide operational support:
  • (a) To prepare maintenance schedule,
  • (b) To conduct regular inspection of the machinery and facilities,
  • (c) To identifying root cause, and;
  • (d) To resolve problem with effective correction plans.

• To generate, maintain & update technical operational procedures and ensure that the enforcement and implementation of the process and procedures are in place.
• To assist in record and oversee the maintenance budget.
