Job summary

SPANCO SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking an Audit Assistant to support the Audit Executive in implementing technical audit methodologies, including Annual Inspection (AI), Desktop Audit (DA), and Verification Audit (VA), across workshops and field sites.

You will conduct desktop inspections, help document non-conformities, compile findings, track CAP closures, and prepare audit papers and reports. Travel and driving license are required for site inspections.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Automotive is required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the automotive industry.
• Proficient in MS Office and computer systems.
• Willing to travel with valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Audit Executive in monitoring and executing technical audit methodologies, including Annual Inspection (AI), Desktop Audit (DA), and Verification Audit (VA).
• Perform Desktop Audits based on inspections done by technicians/foremen and in adherence to technical standards.
• Assist in physical vehicle inspections at workshops or field sites to check repair quality, mechanical condition, and report accuracy.
• Identify and document technical non-conformities, substandard repair work, and discrepancies in vehicle conditions.
• Compile DA and VA findings, summarize inspection data, and update vehicle condition ratings in the system.
• Track pending audit findings and follow up with operational teams for timely CAP closures.
• Provide operational and logistical support in preparing technical documents, vehicle lists, and inspection files for MoF audits.
• Assist in drafting technical working papers, meeting notes, and compliance checklists for operational reviews.
• Assist the Audit Executive in preparing technical audit summary reports, defect trend data, and compliance statistics for Management review.
• Support the arrangement and execution of practical audit alignment briefings for internal and external teams.
• Undertake any additional operational, administrative, or compliance tasks as assigned by the Superior.

Job Functions and Areas of Responsibility

Assist in drafting technical working papers, meeting notes, and compliance checklists for operational reviews.

Assist the Audit Executive in preparing technical audit summary reports, defect trend data, and compliance statistics for Management review.

Support the arrangement and execution of practical audit alignment briefings for internal and external teams.

Undertake any additional operational, administrative, or compliance tasks as assigned by the Superior from time to time.

Requirements:

Certificate or Diploma in Automotive.

Minimum 3 year working experience in automotive industry.

Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office.

Fast learner and self-reliant.

Trustworthy and have high sense of responsibility.

Able to travel with valid driving license class B2 & D.
