CARSOME Sdn Bhd is looking for an Inspection professional to ensure vehicles meet industry standards. You will inspect quality, document findings, upload photos, and handle customer service at the Retail Centre under the Retail Manager.

1+ year of related experience is preferred and junior engineering executives are welcome to apply. Responsibilities include using software to submit reports, locating and moving vehicles for inspections, and following up with customers after service.

Competenze

• Candidates must hold at least a Professional Certificate or Diploma or higher in engineering, mechanical or related fields.
• Engineer backgrounds with Logistics/Transportation exposure are acceptable.
• 1+ year of relevant work experience is required.
• Junior Executives with mechanical/automotive focus are preferred.

Mansioni

• Inspect vehicles to assess interior, exterior, odometer, trunk, and engine compartment.
• Note damages to frame, paint, engine, AC/heater, radio, navigation and tires.
• Prepare complete condition reports with findings and photos.
• Upload digital photos during inspection and document results.
• Locate, start and move vehicles as directed for inspection tasks.
• Submit condition reports using computer or app software.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Follow-up with customers after inspections.

You will be responsible for ensuring a car or other motor vehicle meets all industry regulations. You will be reporting to Retail Manager based in the Retail Centre, where you will be expected to perform daily tasks of vehicle examinations and customer service.

Your Day-to-Day

Conduct assessment of vehicle condition (interior, exterior, odometer reading, trunk area, engine compartment).

Note damage, or repair to frame, paint, engine, AC/heater operation, radio, navigation system, tires, etc.

Provide accurate and complete documentation of overall vehicle condition; providing reports based on findings.

Take and upload digital photos during the inspection process.

Required to locate, start and move vehicles as directed.

Utilize computer/app software to submit condition reports.

Provide prompt and courteous service.

Follow-up with customers after car inspection.

Other duties as assigned.

Your Know How

Candidates must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others), Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.

At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
