Job summary

ZTE Malaysia is seeking a qualified Security Operations professional to perform routine security inspections across IDC areas and assist in implementing security procedures under Alibaba Cloud guidelines. The role requires coordination with multiple teams and strong communication in English (Chinese preferred).

The candidate will support incident identification, risk remediation, drills, and documentation, while ensuring compliance with EHS and access control requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, Security Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in security operations, data centre security, site security, or related field.
• Experience in data centre / IDC, critical infrastructure, construction, facilities, or large-scale project environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of security procedures, access control, security inspections, risk identification, incident management, and emergency response.
• Ability to conduct routine site security inspections and identify potential security risks, abnormal conditions, or non-compliance issues.
• Familiarity with SOPs, security controls, risk remediation, issue tracking, and documentation.
• Basic understanding of EHS, confidentiality, physical security, and access control requirements.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with ability to work with IDC Operations, Facilities, IT Operations, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to follow established procedures and operational controls.
• Able to support security drills, inspections, testing, emergency activities, and other project-related security operations when required.
• Good command of English for daily communication, reporting, and coordination. Chinese proficiency is an advantage.
• Candidates with relevant security, EHS, or data centre-related certifications will have an added advantage.
