Job summary

ZTE Malaysia in Malaysia is seeking a security professional to perform routine IDC security inspections, support Alibaba Cloud security procedures and incident management, and assist with risk remediation under Alibaba Cloud guidance. Responsibilities include documenting inspections, coordinating with IDC Operations, Facilities, and IT Operations, and ensuring EHS and access control requirements are followed.

English communication is essential; Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, Security Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in security operations, data centre security, site security, or related field.
• Experience in data centre / IDC, critical infrastructure, construction, facilities, or large-scale project environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of security procedures, access control, security inspections, risk identification, incident management, and emergency response.
• Familiarity with SOPs, security controls, risk remediation, issue tracking, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with SOPs, security controls, risk remediation, issue tracking, and documentation.
• Basic understanding of EHS, confidentiality, physical security, and access control requirements.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work with IDC Operations, Facilities, IT Operations, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to follow established procedures and operational controls.
• Able to support security drills, inspections, testing, emergency activities, and other project-related security operations when required.
• Good command of English for daily communication, reporting, and coordination. Chinese proficiency is an advantage.
• Candidates with relevant security, EHS, or data centre-related certifications will have an added advantage.
