Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Security Supervisor to organise, deploy and supervise resources to secure operational and financial targets. You will oversee security operations during evacuations and ensure safety procedures are regularly checked and reported to the Manager, Safety & Security.

In this role you will respond to security incidents, coordinate with emergency services during major events, and perform additional duties as directed by the Manager, Safety & Security.

Responsibilities

• Organise, deploy & supervise resources to achieve operational and financial targets.
• Supervise security operations connected with building evacuations.
• Carry out regular checks on fire, safety, security and other emergency procedures and report results to the Manager, Safety & Security.
• Respond to and attend incidents involving security or safety of premises and team members, and initiate appropriate actions.
• Ensure that during a major incident emergency services are informed and management is contacted, following assignment instructions.
• Carry out any other relevant duties as directed by the Manager, Safety & Security.

• To organise, deploy & supervise all allocated resources in such a way as to secure optimal performance and achievement of operational and when required, financial targets
• To supervise the security operations connected with the evacuation of buildings
• To carry out regular checks on fire, safety, security and other emergency procedures and to report the result of such checks to the Manager, Safety & Security
• To respond to and attend as necessary any incidents involving security or safety of premises of team member, and to initiate appropriate actions
• To ensure that, in the event of a major incident the emergency services are informed immediately where necessary, that relevant management representatives are contacted immediately, and other appropriate action is taken in line with assignment instructions
• To carry out any other relevant duties as directed by the Manager, Safety & Security
