Job summary

Zurich is seeking a Team Lead / Assistant Manager for Senior Collections to lead the collections team, ensure accurate bad debt recovery, and drive process improvements. The role partners with Finance, Underwriting, Operations, IT and other stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance controls.

The position requires 3–5 years in collections or AR, 1–2 years in a supervisory role, and strong Excel/analytical skills. Insurance/financial services experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Collections or Accounts Receivable.
• 1–2 years of team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience in General Insurance/Financial Services is advantageous.
• Intermediate or advanced Excel and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily collections and bad debts recovery processes.
• Handle Direct and Non-Direct accounts.
• Monitor and resolve unmatched receipts, journals, payments and DKOs.
• Conduct monthly stakeholder meetings.
• Perform broker statement reconciliations and communicate unreconciled items.
