We are looking for a Teaching Assistantto support our Primary classes. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support students’ learning, development, wellbeing and day-to-day classroom activities.
Support the class teacher in helping students achieve their social, personal and academic goals.
Work closely with the class teacher and follow the daily lesson plans, routines and classroom activities.
Observe students and identify those who may require additional support, and work with the class teacher on appropriate ways to assist them.
Assist with preparing teaching and learning resources and displaying students’ work.
Attend staff briefings, training sessions and professional development activities as required.
Undertake supervisory duties outside the classroom when required by the Principal, Head of Section or Deputies.
Ensure the safety and security of students at all times.
Promote and uphold the core values of Taylor’s Education Group (TEG) and encourage students to reflect these values.
Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Principal, Head of Section or Deputies.
MinimumSPM, STPM, A Level, Pre-U, Professional Certificate in Education/Teaching/Training or equivalent.
Good command of written and spokenEnglish.
At least1 year of experience working with children, preferably in an international school.
Caring, patient and responsible, with a genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development.
Able to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team.
