Job summary

Taylor’s International School Puchong in Malaysia is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support Primary classes starting January 2027. This full-time role involves assisting teachers with lesson delivery, resources, and student wellbeing within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/STPM/A Level/Pre-U or professional certificate in education/teaching/training or equivalent.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children, preferably in an international school.
• Caring, patient and responsible, with a genuine interest in supporting children's learning and development.
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in helping students achieve their social, personal and academic goals.
• Follow daily lesson plans, routines and classroom activities.
• Observe students and identify those who may require additional support, and work with the class teacher on appropriate ways to assist them.
• Assist with preparing teaching and learning resources and displaying students’ work.
• Attend staff briefings, training sessions and professional development activities as required.
• Undertake supervisory duties outside the classroom when required by the Principal, Head of Section or Deputies.
• Ensure the safety and security of students at all times.
• Promote and uphold the core values of Taylor’s Education Group (TEG).
• Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Principal, Head of Section or Deputies.
