Job summary

ADDEEN ACADEMY SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to deliver daily lessons and activities in line with the prescribed curriculum and lesson plans.

You will prepare engaging teaching materials, manage the classroom, monitor students’ progress and development, and foster a positive, safe learning environment. You’ll maintain records and communicate with parents regarding progress and wellbeing.

Participation in events and adherence to SOPs are expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct daily teaching and learning activities according to the prescribed curriculum and lesson plans.
• Prepare suitable teaching materials, activities and learning resources.
• Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive, engaging and conducive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess students’ learning progress and overall development.
• Guide students in developing good manners, discipline, communication, social skills and positive values.
• Ensure students’ safety, hygiene, wellbeing and proper supervision throughout the school day.
• Maintain students’ records, attendance, progress reports and other relevant documentation.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding students’ progress, behaviour, attendance and other relevant matters.
• Participate in kindergarten events, activities, celebrations, field trips and other programmes.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and proper arrangement of the classroom and teaching materials.
• Work closely with other teachers and centre staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Attend meetings, training sessions and professional development activities as required.
• Comply with the kindergarten’s policies, SOPs, teaching standards and operational procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities related to teaching and kindergarten operations as assigned by the Management.
