Job summary

Raki CS Tan & Ramanan is seeking a seasoned tax professional to join our Kuala Lumpur team, with offices in Johor Bahru and Melaka. You will manage tax compliance for a portfolio of clients and help them meet deadlines.

The successful candidate will have CTIM membership, 5+ years in tax, and strong knowledge of Malaysian Tax, incentives, RPGT, transfer pricing basics, and cross-border taxation. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia required; Mandarin preferred.

Qualifications

• CTIM membership or professional accounting membership required.
• Excellent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients.
• At least 5 years of experience in a tax environment.
• Conversant with Malaysian Tax, Incentives, and RPGT.
• Knowledge of cross-border and international tax.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of tax compliance clients, meet client expectations, and filing deadlines.
• Review tax computations of associates.
• Manage CP 204 filing and updates.
• Independently deal with the IRB.
• Independently undertake and resolve tax audits.
• Familiar with basic Transfer Pricing Documentation.
