Job summary

Tgs Tw in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a diligent Tax Compliance & Advisory Associate to support clients with tax submissions, computations and advisory work. You will handle tax audits, correspond with authorities, and ensure timely delivery of tasks while conducting research on advisory matters.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Accountancy or equivalent, with 1–3 years in tax, and demonstrate strong teamwork and language skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or professional equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in tax advisory/compliance preferred.
• Strong communication and writing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform compliance services and assist in tax advisory/consultancy for clients.
• Assist and manage tax audit and investigation for clients.
• Communicate and attend to correspondences with clients and tax authorities.
• Assist with backlog direct and indirect tax submissions including tax computations and tax return forms.
• Assist with desk/field tax audits and investigations.
• Complete assigned tasks within given deadlines.
• Conduct research on tax advisory matters.
