Job summary

Wawasan Cojaya Sdn Bhd and Fingular Tech Sdn Bhd seek an Assistant Manager, Finance (Tax & Regulatory) to lead tax compliance, statutory matters and regulatory coordination in Malaysia. You will assist finance reporting, month-end closing, and liaison with auditors, tax agents and authorities.

The role requires strong knowledge of Malaysian tax rules, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while supporting internal stakeholders and cross-entity finance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in Finance, Tax or Accounting with strong exposure to Malaysian tax matters.
• Solid knowledge of Malaysian corporate tax, WHT, SST, stamp duty and statutory requirements.
• Hands-on experience with CP204/CP204A, Form C, LHDN/MyTax and RMCD matters.
• Experience managing tax agents, auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end closing processes.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage corporate tax matters for two entities and ensure timely submissions.
• Coordinate CP204, CP204A, Form C and other corporate tax submissions.
• Oversee WHT, SST and stamp duty matters and deadlines.
• Support month-end closing, financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Liaise with tax agents, auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Strengthen internal controls related to tax and compliance.
